Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

We’re looking for an experienced copywriter to execute co-marketing campaigns in partnership with our well-known merchant partners. This is an opportunity for you to help us craft and refine our messaging and voice while creating compelling co-marketing creative for use on owned and paid channels. This role reports to our Associate Creative Director, Copy, and lives within our in-house creative team, which also includes art direction/design and project management.

Our ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and proactive self-starter who brings creative instinct, polish, discipline, and an eye for detail to their craft.

What You'll Do

  • Help push our creativity, campaign concepting, and discipline in how we bring our brand to life

  • Help create brand consistency in voice, messaging, and style at every consumer touchpoint

  • Ensure that co-marketing materials for Affirm and our merchant partners support and strengthen Affirm’s brand voice and personality

  • Articulate Affirm’s narrative to help the world understand how our products fit into a new generation of commerce

  • Work closely with marketing partners from our brand and partner marketing teams to concept and write for online and offline marketing campaigns including emails, website modules, digital display, social media assets, business collateral, video assets, print, out of home, and presentations

  • Partner, closely collaborate, and jointly ideate with our brand design team

  • Provide guidance and creative feedback to our platform / e-commerce partners

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of relevant copywriting experience in developing well-crafted campaigns and creative work across owned and paid channels (with the portfolio to match), with experience in self-managing your day-to-day projects

  • Well-versed across the creative spectrum with an understanding of the skill and executional requirements needed for copywriting for web, mobile, video, email, social, out of home, and print

  • Experience with partner marketing campaigns

  • Understanding of how to leverage consumer mindsets and strategic insights to drive creative thinking

  • Understanding of marketing strategy, user journeys, and targeted marketing

  • Experience working across consumer, business, and internal audiences (sales teams, PR/communications). Global experience is a plus.

  • Experience in e-commerce platforms and/or in a highly regulated, complex industry a plus

  • Proficiency in Google Suite with familiarity with project management tools (bonus if you have knowledge of Figma, Adobe Suite, and/or Asana)

Pay Grade - CAN28

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.

CAN base pay range per year:

Min: $91,800

Mid: $112,500

Max: $133,100
