SUMMARY
As the Market and Product Planning Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing our product strategy in the semiconductor hardware and AI solutions space. You will be responsible for conducting market sizing research, analyzing industry trends, and developing market entry proposals. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in semiconductors and AI chips to analyze existing customer engagements and identify opportunities for product enhancements and business growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market sizing research to identify market opportunities and trends in the semiconductor hardware and AI solutions industry.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide product planning and development.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and AI chips.
- Market Entry Proposals:
- Develop market entry proposals, including business cases, go-to-market strategies, and financial projections, for new product launches and expansions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate market potential and feasibility and provide recommendations for successful market entry.
- Existing Customer Engagement Analysis:
- Analyze existing customer engagements and gather insights to identify areas for improvement, product enhancements, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather feedback and drive product roadmap decisions.
- Product Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to define product requirements, features, and roadmaps based on market needs and customer feedback.
- Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals, competitive positioning, and technological advancements.
- Conduct pricing analysis and market segmentation to ensure optimal product positioning and profitability.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and customers to gather insights, validate product concepts, and drive strategic partnerships.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as electrical engineering, computer science, or related disciplines. MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience working in the semiconductor industry, with a deep understanding of semiconductor hardware and associated technologies.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience working with AI chips, SoC’s, AI solutions, Computer Vision, or related AI technologies.
- Proven experience in market sizing research, industry analysis, and writing market entry proposals.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
SALARY RANGE
- $116,000 - $145,000 yearly
