Position Summary

This role is located in India and is responsible for helping secure Domo's systems, network infrastructure, endpoints, services, and data. The security engineer will be considered a subject matter expert and will play a key role in creating the cloud security roadmap. This role will work with application pipeline teams to coordinate the implementation of security processes, tools, and standards. Identify, define, and document system configuration and requirements, and recommend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a defense in depth security model;
• Build, design, develop, deploy, and support security software/tools that deliver security functionality and improve security efficiency and capabilities through automation and machine learning;
• Create requirement and design documents that account for security risks in new or existing systems with architectures to mitigate them within risk appetite;
• Ensure enterprise security on AWS and Azure platforms;
• Develop automation and utilize frameworks to scale both protection and mitigation tools;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls;
• Create requirement and design documents that account for security risks in new or existing systems with architectures to mitigate them within risk appetite;
• Develop automation and utilize frameworks to scale both protection and mitigation tools;
• Iterate security posture to better protect against attacks;
• Monitor, support, evaluate existing security controls and make recommendations to enhance security;
• Strong experience of cloud, and containerization;
• Experience with Vulnerability scanners;
• Knowledge of OWASP security model and Web application security.

Job Requirements

• BS in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/Information Systems degree, or industry equivalent;
• At least 5 years in a hands-on security role;
• Experience managing enterprise security on AWS and have hands-on services such AWS Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch, AWS WAF, AWS Firewall Manager, Inspector, and Guard Duty. etc.
• Batch Programming and Scripting skills / Experience with Scripting Languages (Python, Java, Perl);
• Familiarity with security testing and forensics tools Unix/Linux operating systems;
• Familiarity with working on Linux Systems.
• Have knowledge of SIEM such as Splunk or Devo preferred or similar SIEM.
• Internal Vulnerability testing tools and coordination external pentesting with third-party contractors;
• Have experience working with penetration testing tools and coordinating with third-party contractors.
• Experience running a security awareness program would be a plus.
• Have experience working with tools such as Tenable Nessus or similar tools for Vulnerability Management.
• Have knowledge of CAASM and any tool which is CAASM.
• Have knowledge of Implementing secure SDLC and implementing security in CI/CD pipeline in Version Control systems such as GitHub, Gitlab, etc.
• Knowledge of OWASP security model and Web application security.
• Experience working remotely full-time with a geographically dispersed team.
• Independently leading the projects and also working in the team.
• Have knowledge of working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, and bug tracking tools such as Jira.
