We’re growing rapidly and are searching for a Senior Manager, Privacy Compliance located in the Boston area to support a wide range of functions, including third-party vendor and partner management and compliance with the evolving landscape of U.S., EU, and other international privacy and data protection laws and regulations. What you will do as Senior Manager, Privacy Compliance:

Manage multiple elements of global privacy practice with a focus on U.S. and EU data protection compliance for international companies in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment;

Serve as team lead responsible for reviewing, revising, and negotiating a wide range of privacy-related vendor and partner contracts – primarily, data processing and data protection agreements – to maintain compliance with U.S., EU, UK, and other applicable laws and regulations;

Maintain third-party data sharing register and collaborate with Privacy Team stakeholders on data inventory covering all corporate group companies;

Assist with drafting and implementing various information privacy and data protection policies, procedures, and training materials for U.S. entities and international affiliates;

Serve as a company-wide subject matter expert on compliant third-party data sharing practices;

Provide guidance to stakeholders on, and implement solutions to satisfy, the rapidly evolving legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to tech companies operating in North America and Europe;

Counsel stakeholders across the enterprise on data protection issues and practical solutions in a broad range of commercial and corporate contexts;

Assist with the completion of legitimate interest and data protection impact assessments for U.S., UK, and EU companies; and

Assist the Compliance department with miscellaneous regulatory matters germane to the company’s operations in state and international gaming markets.
What skills you will use:
-
A minimum of 4 years of experience handling information privacy and data protection compliance for complex organizations – particularly , vendor management and data processing agreement drafting – in either a reputable law firm or a technology company, with experience in online gaming preferred;

Superior academic credentials and either a law degree and bar admission in the U.S. or other graduate degree and CIPP/E or CIPP/US certification held for a minimum of 3 years;

Several years of experience drafting and negotiating data protection agreements and/or complex commercial agreements, with a demonstrated competency for analytic research and writing on complex issues;

An in-depth command of U.S., EU, and other global data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, CDPA, CPA, UCPA, and VCDPA;

Familiarity with standard technical and organizational security measures;

A strong commitment to ethical business practice and personal integrity; and

An unquestionable work ethic, sense of accountability, and capacity to work cooperatively, diplomatically, and proactively with hundreds of colleagues in a demanding global role.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $121,600.00 - $182,400.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
