DraftKings is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Auditor to join our team. As an IT Auditor, you will be the central point of contact for all audits and audit-related information requested from DraftKings IT. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and implementing solutions to ensure that DraftKings IT operates in compliance with the highest standards of SOX, ISO, and other regulatory processes. What you’ll do as an IT Auditor:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all audit-related activities and requests within DraftKings IT.

  • Collaborate with internal Compliance teams and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain processes that adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Conduct thorough audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Analyze audit findings and develop comprehensive reports detailing areas of improvement and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and monitor progress to ensure compliance.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to proactively identify emerging risks and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.

  • Provide guidance and support to IT teams regarding compliance-related matters.

  • Collaborate with external auditors during external audit engagements, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

  • Gather evidence from various IT systems and applications to support audit findings and conclusions. This may involve extracting and analyzing data from databases, logs, system configurations, and other sources.

  • Participate in walkthrough meetings with external auditors to provide insights into IT controls, explain processes, and present evidence to support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with common IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate audit findings and recommendations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Advantageous:

  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent would be an

  • Solid understanding of SOX, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to IT.

  • Proven experience in conducting IT audits and assessments, including evaluating controls and identifying risks.

  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance best practices.
