We’re hiring an Operations Specialist to join our SRE Operations team. This team is centered in the technical operations at DraftKings and is working closely with 50+ teams supporting all technological components involved in our products. You will play a central role in running the day-to-day operations of a rapidly scaling part of our business. What you'll do as an Operations Specialist:

• Ensure constant availability and uninterruptible operation of the company's multi-service network and customers’ activity.

• Work on shifts 24/7 providing alarm surveillance, troubleshooting, and resolution of the incoming system alerts and working closely with the other company departments requesting monitoring or escalating the alerts.

• Occasionally demonstrate situational influence within team and department to promote an idea and/or progress work forward.

• Provide surveillance and alarm reporting.

• Proactively initiate incident management process.

• Perform other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong grasp of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup).

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and its application in managing containerized environments.

• Practical experience in service monitoring using specific tools (DataDog, Grafana, Kibana, PagerDuty).

• Very good understanding/hands-on experience with other tools - Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).

• Fluent in English (for verbal and written communication).

• Team player

• Willingness to work on shifts including nights and weekends
