As an Inventory Specialist, you will be working with the Global Procurement Team to align on hardware and software standards. You will need to be flexible as you will be working closely with other departments across the company to ensure their procurement and IT device needs are met. You will be focused on the deployment, refresh, and disposition of the internal IT hardware that runs our business. Having attention to detail and foresight to forecast spend and experience maintaining an inventory is critical to this role.

What you’ll do as an Inventory Specialist:

• Work with the global procurement team to minimize organizational costs through product standardization and tracking.

• Generate weekly ad-hoc reports for the leadership team as requested.

• Conduct ongoing inventory counts for all EMEA to ensure IT inventories are always correct and at proper levels.

• Work closely with North America counterparts to conduct physical inventory activities including analysis and reconciliation.

• Documenting and updating inventory processes regularly.

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders.

• Conduct bi-annual audits to ensure the accuracy of asset data and reporting.

• Tracks and recovers assets from existing and former end users.

• Maintain records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.

What you’ll bring:

• Exposure to budget planning and financial planning.

• Solid stakeholder management experience.

• Experience with maintaining outside vendor relationships.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Knowledge of the ITIL asset management lifecycle and Freshservice.

• Knowledge of automated asset management & discover tools like Microsoft Intune and JAMF.

• 1-3 years of experience with asset management systems, tools, and processes is a plus.
