DraftKings is seeking a conceptual Lead Copywriter for our Creative team. As a Lead Copywriter, you will use your knowledge of conceptual advertising and campaign execution to write conceptual advertising (with a focus on broadcast, video content) that delivers measurable positive business results.
What you’ll do as a Lead Copywriter
Generate multiple creative concepts for every assignment that are on the brief. Ability to ideate and execute fully-integrated “big idea” campaigns across a variety of media.
Primary focus will be television and digital video but will also include out of home, experiential, product naming, brand, etc.
Represent ideas and concepts in cross-functional settings; collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Work closely with the Direct Response Studio team to help implement ideas across multiple executions.
Collaborate with designers to execute creative deliverables.
What you’ll bring
8+ years of relevant advertising agency or in-house agency experience.
8+ years of experience in Television ideation, production and post-production.
Award winning portfolio with multiple broadcast examples.
Experience in sports or iGaming advertising a plus.
Excellent communication skills, written, visual and verbal.
Creativity, collaborative spirit, confidence, initiative and enthusiasm.
Attention to detail and grammar.
Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work done in a fast-paced environment.
