What You'll do as a Software Engineer Lead
Take ownership on development of gaming platform and ensure its scalability and performance.
Designing and Solutioning highly scalable and highly available features using cutting edge technologies (e.g. Kafka, AWS services, Redis, InfluxDB, MySQL, JavaRX and more)
You will be developing systems using microservices architecture and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.
You'll mentor Junior and Senior members of the team.
You'll be architecture and technological trust point of the team and you'll participate in and contribute to technical design reviews.
You'll be responsible for code quality including reviews and apply best practices.
Taking active part of the team KPI’s and take part in leadership meetings.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
BSc. in Computer science / Software Engineering
You have 5+ years of development experience.
You have experience in one of NoSQL data stores like Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.
Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (ideally in Java), design patterns and microservices architecture
You have experience designing and implementing highly scalable systems.
Experience supporting systems in production, working with monitoring systems, understand how to debug and solve production issues.
A people person with interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities with the ability to grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews etc.
