IT Business Operations Analyst

About the role...
We are forming a new role to address the ongoing growth and process maturity that is required to help IT and HashiCorp scale.
As an IT Business Operations Analyst, you will have a hands-on role in leading the day-to-day IT operations for the IT Services team. You will be experienced and capable of working both independently and collaboratively with all the relevant partnering teams (Procurement, Service Desk, IT Engineering, Security).
In this role you can expect to...
- Drive data quality, process and automation activities that improve process efficiencies.
- Design purchasing workflows for all IT hardware purchases
- Work with vendors and IT to handle company wide purchasing for hardware
- Use tools effectively to track, monitor and keep a pulse on the asset Lifecycle.
- Recommend people, process, and technology improvements needed to mature the IT Ops program.
- Provide a level of expertise into the input of processes such as user audits and hardware vetting needs.
- Provide internal communications from IT to the company
- Assist with strategic planning, and budget development for IT.
- Help develop a program for hardware asset, provisioning, asset recovery, and lifecycle management for the company.
You may be a good fit for our team if you have...
- 3+ years of IT experience in a fast-moving, agile environment in a high-growth company.
- Knowledgeable in a variety of IT Asset Management systems.
- Experience with IT procurement
- Experience with asset discovery, and asset management tools
- Knowledge of the full lifecycle of assets.
- Experience with vendor invoicing and purchasing procedures
- Experience planning and delivering mass communications for IT projects
- Knowledge of IT budgeting development
- An ability to take on initiatives without being prompted to do so.
- Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, and the ability to effectively manage multiple activities and/or projects concurrently.
- An ability to handle change, ambiguity, decision-making, and deadlines in a structured fashion.
- An ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced environment, a strong sense of accountability, and a proven track record of driving results through both direct & indirect influence.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities, including ad-hoc requests.
- Comfortable working with personnel at all levels of the organization.
